Last updated: 17 August 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to UPIPoint.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UPIPoint, including the website, UPI QR code generator, payment-link generator, shortened payment links, QR scanner and related services.
By accessing or using UPIPoint, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the service.
2. What UPIPoint Does
UPIPoint provides web-based tools that may allow users to:
- Create UPI payment QR codes.
- Generate UPI payment links.
- Generate shortened payment URLs.
- Include optional payment amounts, notes and reference information.
- Scan UPI QR codes using a compatible camera or uploaded image.
- Open compatible UPI payment links in supported UPI applications.
UPIPoint is intended to provide technical tools for constructing and displaying UPI payment information. It does not determine whether a payment should be made.
3. What UPIPoint Does Not Do
Important: UPIPoint is not a bank, payment aggregator, payment gateway, wallet, payment system operator or financial institution merely by providing these tools.
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a separately regulated service, UPIPoint does not:
- Receive money on behalf of users.
- Hold user funds.
- Settle or transfer payments.
- Store or request a user's UPI PIN.
- Process bank credentials.
- Guarantee that a UPI payment will succeed.
The actual payment is handled through the user's chosen UPI application, participating banks and the applicable UPI payment infrastructure.
4. Eligibility
You must use UPIPoint only in compliance with applicable law.
If you are under an age at which you can lawfully use a financial or payment service without parental or guardian involvement, you should use the service only with the appropriate permission and supervision.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of UPIPoint is lawful in your jurisdiction.
5. User Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter into UPIPoint.
Before making or requesting a payment, you should carefully verify:
- The UPI ID.
- The recipient/payee name.
- The payment amount.
- The payment note.
- The transaction/reference information.
Always verify the recipient name and amount shown inside your UPI application before entering your UPI PIN or confirming a payment.
UPIPoint cannot independently verify that a UPI ID belongs to the person, business or organization represented by a user.
6. Payment Links and QR Codes
Payment QR codes and links generated by UPIPoint may contain information such as UPI ID, payee name, amount, note and transaction reference.
A shortened payment link may be stored by UPIPoint so that the associated payment information can be retrieved when the short URL is opened.
You are responsible for ensuring that you do not publish confidential, misleading, unlawful or unauthorized information through a UPIPoint payment link.
UPIPoint may disable or remove a payment link where there is a reasonable basis to believe that it violates these Terms, applicable law, security requirements or the rights of another person.
7. QR Scanner
UPIPoint may provide a QR scanning facility for compatible UPI QR codes.
The scanner may request access to your device camera or allow you to select a QR image from your device.
QR decoding may be performed locally in your browser. UPIPoint does not guarantee that every QR code, image, camera or device will be compatible with the scanner.
A scanned QR code may contain information supplied by an unknown third party. You should verify all payment details before proceeding.
8. UPI Apps, Banks and Third Parties
UPIPoint may create or display a UPI payment URL intended to be opened by a compatible UPI application.
The availability and behaviour of that payment URL depends on the user's device, operating system, browser, UPI application, bank and applicable payment-network rules.
Third-party UPI applications and banks may perform their own security, fraud or risk checks and may reject, delay or require additional confirmation for a transaction.
UPIPoint has no control over such third-party decisions.
9. Prohibited Uses
You must not use UPIPoint to:
- Commit or facilitate fraud.
- Impersonate another person, business, bank or organization.
- Create deceptive or misleading payment requests.
- Facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing or other unlawful financial activity.
- Collect money through false pretenses.
- Distribute malware, malicious code or harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to UPIPoint or another user's data.
- Abuse automated systems or create excessive requests intended to disrupt the service.
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
We may restrict, suspend or remove content or payment links associated with suspected misuse.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the UPIPoint name, logo, website design, software, interface, text and original visual materials are owned by or licensed to UPIPoint and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the service and generated payment information for lawful purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit UPIPoint's proprietary website components without permission, except where permitted by law.
UPI and related marks, logos, specifications and branding elements may belong to their respective owners. UPIPoint does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks.
NPCI's UPI branding and QR requirements may impose additional rules for certain merchant QR implementations. NPCI's published guidelines include requirements concerning UPI branding and QR presentation. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}
